Applique .. for beautiful indoor flags and banners. Custom appliques have dimensional lettering hand sewn onto Nylon or other fabric. Your design is then hand cut to the required shapes. The result is a rich dimensional look at a fraction of the cost of embroidery. Durable and stylish for outdoor use - appliqued flags can be flown outdoors as well as indoors.

It's Easy to Order a Custom Made Flag or Banner. Just don't be bound by tradition in laying out the design of your flag. Be imaginative! Thoughtfully designed flags and banners incorporate several key factors. Simple designs offer greater impact. Because a flag is often seen at a distance of 100 feet or more, it's important to display a clear visual message. Minimal lettering, or none at all avoids a cluttered look. Choose well-balanced colors that use contrast to advantage. Use a symbolic impression rather than photographic details to increase the flag's statement. Borders are often costly and restrict the beauty and durability of the finished flag. Consider a single thickness flag for better wear and fly-ability.

1st - Make a rough sketch of the general layout of the flag. It doesn't have to be a professional drawing, just a simple sketch will do. Indicate the approximate position and arrangement of the lettering and design (s).

2nd - If a design or emblem is to be used, include a clear copy, large enough to show the details so that our artists can copy it accurately.

3rd - On your sketch or a separate list, be sure to indicate these important points:
(a) Name - What does flag or banner represent?
(b) Background Color(s)
(c) Emblem Color(s)
(d) Lettering color(s) and Style (gothic, serif, other)
(e) Method of Manufacture (appliquéd, screen-printed, embroidered)
(f) Item (flag, banner, pennant, table cover, etc.)
(9) Construction (single, single w/ plain back, double, other)
(h) Material
(i) Size
(j) Emblem (provide artwork)
(k) Lettering (proper spelling of all lettering)
